Given our past experience working with Mark, we had an inside understanding of his approach and thinking. Mark needed an identity that honestly expresses his brand truth. As a leader he is both known for his creative intelligence and thought leadership, combined with a professional stability, maturity, and business/financial acumen that few advisors in his field have behind them.
Through a series of work sessions and research, Mark and the m+ team were able to quickly boil down the naming process to the essence of his name Nestler (to leverage his leadership equity and personalized reputation) combined with Strategies (the literal expression of what he and his team will be providing without limiting it to one area of focus).
We considered a series of fonts, and chose modern simple san serifs for both digital and print applications that are future thinking and clear, while having proportions that suggest a more subtle expression of classic legacy.
We also chose an impeccably tailored blue and crisp white as the primary brand colors, representing Mark’s professionalism and solidity, adding a palette of secondary blues and suggested stock photography imagery that represent his agility and fresh approach to thought leadership.
